If you want to keep your flat for the next academic year, you will be offered to hand your keys in and keep your possessions in the flat or you can pay half price rent and live there. For people moving into our accommodation alternative housing can be made for August. We do not offer any storage.
Yes you will need to hand these into the office, for the dates and amounts set out on your tenancy agreement.
You will need to find a replacement for your room. This person must take your bedroom in your flat; they must have a UK guarantor, pay a deposit and sign a tenancy agreement.
Tenants will need to send all of their final utility bills into our office to be checked and accepted. These must go up to the final date of your tenancy agreement. If your rent is inclusive of your utility bills, the procedure will be slightly different.
