When it comes to eating out in Nottingham the list of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from is almost endless. Well known favourites such as Nandos, Pizza Express, Chiquito’s and Frankie & Benny’s are aplenty around the city for relaxed evenings with your housemates but if you're new to the city and you fancy something treating yourself to something different, here are some suggestions that we think you should try.

To name a few we will begin with 'a good and proper place' - George’s Great British Kitchen, serving Britain’s best loved food - Fish & chips! A little tip for you - make sure you save some room for a sweet shop inspired desert, they are simply splendid!

If you fancy a delicious handcrafted burger, then Annie's Burger Shack & Freehouse is where it's at.  Annie brings the authentic taste of Rhode Island to Nottingham with her range of burgers which can all be ordered as vegetarian or vegan versions! Warning: They are not for the faint hearted… We recommend you go there hungry!!

If you're looking for a smokehouse BBQ type eatery then we highly recommend Reds True BBQ & Rub. They both boast prime cuts of meat cooked in traditional ‘smokers’ as it is in South America, and in true American style all of the portion sizes are huge!

The place most commonly recommended for special occasions is World Service, classed as fine dining maybe this would be suitable for loved ones visiting & to celebrate your graduation?

We're sure you will love the city just as much as we do...be sure to let us know if you've had a pleasant experience somewhere so we can pass on the information to our tenants.
